Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Cypress Talent Advisory ("we," "us") is a healthcare executive search, clinical recruiting, and talent advisory business based in Austin, Texas. This policy explains what we collect when you use cypresstalentadvisory.com (the "Site"), submit a consultation request, or communicate with us.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a consultation we collect your name, work email, phone number (if provided), organization, the type of help you need, your preferred day and time, and anything you write in the message field. If you check the text-message box, we also record that consent, the exact wording shown to you, and the date and time.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider and our form handler record standard technical data such as your IP address, approximate country, browser type, and the page you submitted from. We store a one-way hash of your IP address with each request to detect abuse; we do not store your raw IP address with your request. Campaign parameters (for example utm_source) are saved with your request if they are present in the link you used.
Candidate information. If you are a healthcare professional who shares your résumé, contact details, or career history with us, we use it to evaluate and present opportunities to you and to our clients with your permission. We do not charge candidates fees.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule and hold consultations, and provide services you request.
- To send operational messages about your request and, if you opted in, text messages about your inquiry and scheduling.
- To run, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Text messages and calls
If you check the optional consent box on our form, you agree that we may text or call the number you provided about your inquiry and scheduling, which may be done with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any service. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the business:
- Service providers that host and secure the Site and store form submissions (for example Cloudflare), and email, calendar, and video-meeting tools used to schedule and hold consultations. They may process data only on our instructions.
- Clients and candidates, only in the normal course of a search and, for candidates, with your permission.
- Legal and safety, where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers, if the business is reorganized or sold, subject to this policy.
6. Cookies and analytics
The Site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent. Your browser may honor Global Privacy Control signals; we treat them as an opt-out of sale or sharing, which we do not do in any case.
7. Retention and security
We keep consultation requests for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations, and consent records for at least four years to document compliance. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including Texas, California and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, obtain a copy, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. To make a request, email marissa@cypresstalentadvisory.com. We may verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may also contact your state attorney general. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message and opt out of texts by replying STOP.
9. Health information
This Site is for business inquiries. Please do not submit patient information or other protected health information in the form or by email. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or health care clearinghouse, and this Site is not designed to receive health records.
10. Children
The Site is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
